Herzog April Adventures

April was a busy month as I completed returns and filed extensions through 4/15/26. I’ve already filed several of the extended returns and have about 25 left to go.

The day after the tax deadline, our daughter and I went to the St. Louis Zoo Lights. We went a little later in the evening so the lights would really show. The evening was beautiful all the way around.

A few days later, Bob and I took my mom to the Missouri Botanical Garden. Our favorite part was seeing and smelling the peonies in bloom. There is also a new sculpture display at the garden: Patterns in Nature: The Art of HYBYCOZO—which runs through September 26, 2026.

At the end of the month, I went to Babler State Park for a few nights to dewinterize the new-to-us RV. Our first trip will be in the next few weeks, and so far, I’m very happy with our purchase.
