Herzog May Adventures

Bob and I completed our maiden voyage in the RV, checking off three items on our bucket list. 1) Lunch in Herman, MO. 2) Dinner at J Hudson Tavern in Arrow Rock, MO. 3) Warm Springs Ranch in Boonville, MO.

Bob had been wanting to go to Herman forever to have a German Bratwurst. They were so yummy. Arrow Rock was very interesting with its history of salt springs, steamboats, and the start of the Santa Fe Trail. The restaurant is the longest-running restaurant west of the Mississippi. The whole town is a historical site and has a large visitor center. Warms Spring Ranch has been on my list for several years. We did two tours and saw baby Clydesdales (3 days old). It was so interesting to learn about the horse that has been a big part of St. Louis's history.
